Free Beta
Currently, BG Alert is looking for families that can help us test. If you have a child with type 1 diabetes, we would love your help. When Beta testing, everything is free, and you will have the oppurtunity to help us dial in our service , as well as get any ideas you have implemented. You will be helping direct change at BG Alert, and you won't have to pay anything. Once the beta program is up, you will get 3 free months of the service, as our thanks for your generous help!

BG Alert was created to help parents make sure their child does the correct thing, regardless of their blood glucose or what is going on for the child at that specific time. We also allow the parent(s) to get updates through email and text messages on blood glucoses and the actions that the child is taking, every time their blood glucose is checked. This helps eliminate the need for almost all phone calls, and takes away a lot of distraction that these phone calls cause for the child during their day at school.
We allow parents to enter in messages that need to be given to their child, based on their blood glucose and the time of day, similar to what would be given to the school in paper form. For example, your child might be told to have a juice if his or her blood glucose was 100 before going to reccess, but if it was before lunch, he or she wouldn't have to do anything. This is the power of BG Alert. We allow this messaging to be changed easily by the parent, and delived to the child at any computer they are at. It eliminates the chance of the school losing a piece of paper that has all this information on it, and allows you to make changes any time you want.
